Addressing a false claim
It is interesting that Daniel Gray feels compelled to attack someone else for perceived grievances. It is telling that he elects to frame them in the guise of socialism. If he were more ingenuous, he might concede that all governmental spending, when derived from taxation, is socialism — from the snow plows, to the police, to legislative salaries. But I digress.
It would be easy to pick apart his patently absurd claims of business migration, or even his methodology citing the overall valuation of businesses that have diverse holdings as though their net worth was relevant to one factory. Spoiler alert, it isn’t.
My primary point has to do with his absurd assertions regarding the American Homeownership Act, which he claims will lead to the loss of home ownership with the goal of wealth redistribution. This is a lie.
It isn’t a fib, it isn’t a misunderstanding, it is a lie. I can’t stress this enough; this is a lie.
The American Homeownership Act seeks to end tax benefits for Wall Street and corporate landlords in an effort to increase access to affordable housing, whether through affordable leasing, or more affordable home ownership. Only a buffoon, or a provocateur, would claim to the contrary.
