At first, I found it remarkable that people did not know what “Antifa” was. Then I found it disturbing
that people thought it was a bad thing. Then I absolutely could not believe that the current
administration is waging “war” against Antifa!
American soldiers fought and died because they were “Antifa.” Don’t you recall? It was in our history
books in the chapters describing World War II! “Antifa” stands for Anti-fascist.
Why are American citizens supporting and voting for those who don’t comprehend what fascism
means? My father, my father in-law, my uncles and other family members and their friends fought on
foreign soil to beat the narcissistic leader of the fascists, Adolf Hitler, and his gang of Nazis.
Our ancestors would scream from their graves if they knew that the current administration of the
country they fought, and some died for, are working hard to convince citizens that Antifa is a terrorist
organization, instead of the ideology that we should all be proud of! So, everyone will understand that
we must remain true to the creed that America has forever held, I hope the following examples help
you recognize fascism.
Are you told to get the news from a limited source because other news sources were untrustworthy?
Hitler would love that. Are you told that people are criminals and should be locked up due to their skin
color or heritage? Hitler would love that. Do you think those that you elected should persecute
opponents and eliminate political discourse? Hitler would love that.
Maybe you like the idea of the fictional “golden age” and become nostalgic about how things once
were and are convinced that the “others” took it away from you. Hitler would love that.
Perhaps you’re convinced all we need is more “law and order,” and expanded police power and
suppress the civil liberties of those who oppose you. Hitler would love that. Why is there now hostility
toward education, academia and the arts, using fictitious propaganda to make it toe a line with their
idea of what should be taught? Hitler would love that.
To prevent losing an election, should this administration manipulate the rules (gerrymandering) to
guarantee success and reinforce dictatorial authority? Hitler would love that.
The list of daily edicts is growing longer and becoming increasingly fascist. Now that you know what it
stands for, you might just be Antifa too.
