I appreciate the responses to my recent C-N letter “Religious Political Movement.” One writer said she didn’t know if what I said about Trump was true, another said it was. With all the information that is available at our fingertips there is no excuse for not knowing what a public official has said or done. Facts can be verified using any number of search engines.

That such a man as Trump could have been elected President is a dishonor to the country to say nothing of those who voted for him. He disregards our laws and Constitution. He is a 34-count convicted felon. Government under Trump is led by the most unqualified, incompetent people imaginable. For example, Trump’s “border czar” Tom Homan was recorded accepting $50,000 in cash from undercover agents posing as contractors.

The Christian sect behind Project 2025 advocates a national religion, not in name but practice. Historically, Christians have viciously persecuted dissimilar Christians as heretics whenever and wherever they had sufficient political power to do so. Why? Because “God’s Chosen” can do no wrong! Fortunately, God is opening the eyes of all lovers of country and true Christianity. MAGA preachers say Trump is “God’s Chosen.”

No judicious person could believe such absurdity. Christian founders put what Jefferson termed, “a wall of separation between church and state” so Christians would not persecute other Christians as their blood-drenched history repeatedly demonstrates whenever and wherever they controlled the government and made laws permitting such sin.

This great country was purchased with the blood of our fathers; it cannot be wrangled from us by swindlers and carnal preachers trampling on every principle of the Christian religion, trutand justice under the banner of Republican politics. These send missionaries to convert the heathen. They excel at conversion, converting good people into supporters of an unwell president.

Trump’s Christianity hawks bibles for $59.95 and sells autopen editions for $1,000. A jury found Trump liable for defaming Ms. E. Jean Carroll by calling her sexual assault accusation a lie; he now owes her $88 million having lost on appeal.

The Epstein files threaten to strip the mask off those engaged in the rape and sexual abuse of an estimated 1,000 victims; many were underage girls. Until MAGA Christians and Republican politicians demand accountability on behalf of exploited victims, heaven will hear their cries and judge accordingly. The “nobody’s perfect” pass may get revoked this time.
